The Neice

Her stiff formal clothes have a picture book quality which I hope to incorporate into my next book.

This is an image that I come back to again and again. It is of my niece as the title suggests.

What strikes me about this image is the juxtaposition between the strength of character in her face and the role which the tunic imposes on her.
